Following a stellar grassroots season with the Illinois Predators and a big start to his senior season, Sebastian Hill has developed into one of the better available guards in Illinois’ 2024 class. The 6’3” combo guard is currently averaging 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists for Meridian High School as they have a 6-4 record. Even while being one of the leading scorers in the entire state, he is still shooting an impressive 53% from the field.

Currently, the senior has plenty of interest from numerous division three programs. This includes athletic offers from Anderson, Augustana College, Concordia Chicago, and Wabash College. So far, Hill has taken visits to all four of these schools that have offered him.

“A place that makes me feel welcome for the upcoming years of my life,” is what Hill is looking for in his future college and basketball program. He is looking for a school with the right major and class size. “Somewhere I can come in, lead, and play as soon as possible,” he added in.

Over the course of the spring and summer, Hill was one of the top scorers on the NY2LA Association. The senior is a highly gifted scorer that can especially get it done with his shot making ability. Whether he is spotting up from the outside or creating his own shot, Hill can really knock down shots at a high rate. Much more than just a shooter however, Hill plays well with the ball in his hands and has a good ability to get to the rim.

When asked about a possible commitment timeline, he said “Sometime next year. Maybe earlier, maybe later. Depending on who could possible reach out from now to then.”
