While just entering his sophomore year at Whitney Young High School, the recruitment stock of Marquis Clark has continued to greatly build. The 6’2” guard already has himself a few scholarship offers and is fresh off a couple visits.

Bryant, Cal, Northern Illinois, and Pacific have all already extended an offer to Clark, all coming over the past few months. He just took a visit to in-state Northern Illinois University this past weekend as well to haven taken one to Michigan State the weekend before.

“The NIU visit was great. I enjoyed the time with the team and the coaches. I liked the practice because the players had a lot of energy and it was competitive,” Clark said about his most recent visit to the MAC program.

When asked about his other visit this month, Clark said “The Michigan State visit was also great, got to play against the team and see how it is playing against the college players. I also enjoyed the time with the coaches and how they took me around the campus. I also ate with the team and coaches and went to the football game so that was a very good experience.”

As well to his four offers, Clark is also drawing interest from ACC, Big 10, and SEC schools after a stellar spring and summer season playing with the Meanstreets.
