The scholarship offers continue to pour in for Cole Certa. Certa, the 6’5” two guard of Bloomington Central Catholic High School and the Illinois Wolves, has picked up a couple new offers already this week.

Just in the mater of the last couple of days both Butler and Nebraska have offered Certa. Additionally, Illinois, Penn State, and Rice had offered him during this high school season. Previously, Bradley, Drake, Eastern Michigan, Illinois State, Loyola Chicago, Northwestern, Southern Illinois, and Toledo have all also offered him before this season.

Right now, Certa says that Butler, Illinois, Nebraska, Northwestern, and Penn State have all been in contact with him the most consistently. There are different aspects the high scoring guard likes about each of these. Here is what Certa said about each of these programs

Illinois: “They are very welcoming and have shown a lot of interest making it to a couple of my games.”

Northwestern: “Same with them, they’ve made it to a couple of my games as well and they keep in touch with me a lot.

Penn State: “They’ve made it down as well to catch a couple game, they have stood out because of how well they can shoot it as a team and the style of play they have.”

Butler and Nebraska: “They are the most recent. They have been in a decent amount leading up to it. I love the style of play they both play with, having freedom and how they both trust their guys.”

As one of the top scorers in the entire region for the 2024 class, look for the offers to continue to come in as he finishes up his junior season and then moves into his spring with the Illinois Wolves.
