After opening plenty of eyes last July while playing with All In during the NY2LA Final Chapter tournament, Jack Dabbs has continued that into his junior season at Stevenson High School. In his regular season that just finished up, Dabbs averaged 10.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game to help Stevenson to a 20-7 record.

When asked about his game, the 6’6” wing described it as versatile. “I can score from all three levels on the court. Can shoot threes at a high volume. Also, I pride myself on playing good defense and can guard one through five by using my quickness and length,” he said. A couple of aspects that Dabbs is looking to improve upon this offseason include his strength and length.

With his shooting, size, impactful play on both ends, Dabbs has a lot of tools for the next level. With his play over the past several months, the recruitment of Dabbs has started to get going. He has several colleges showing interest in him, mainly from the division three level. While his recruitment has started heating up, he has such a greater ceiling.

Dabbs and Stevenson will get started in the started in the Illinois state tournament on Wednesday when they take on Highland Park. He is looking to finish off the season by winning both a sectional and super sectional championship. Following his junior season, Dabbs will once again be playing with All In this spring. “Looking forward to opening some eyes this spring and summer.”
