The newest player from Illinois’ 2024 class to pick up a scholarship offer is Stefan Cicic. The 6’11” center of Riverside Brookfield High School and the Mac Irvin Fire received his first offer on Wednesday. During his first season at Riverside Brookfield, he is having a breakout junior season averaging 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game to help them to a 22-5 record currently.

After recruiting him over the past few months, Georgia Tech and head coach Josh Pastner offered Cicic. “I feel very excited about this offer. I’ve very blessed as well,” Cicic said about picking up his first offer.

While it is still early in his recruitment, there are a few things Cicic likes about Georgia Tech. “I like how Georgia Tech builds their big men and how the academic and school program is nice. I also love the coaching and the players they build.”

In addition to the offer, there are a number of division one programs recruiting the strong 2024 big man. Miami, North Alabama, Nebraska, Northern Iowa, University of San Diego, and USC are amongst the long list of schools with interest in Cicic.
