One of the better stories of this past spring and summer was the continued elevation of 2020 G Baylor Hebb, a 6-2 standout from Colleyville Heritage in Texas. With late blooming prospects continuing to become the norm in this altered recruiting landscape, Hebb is one of those whose stock is soaring with each passing month.

2019 NY2LA BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
A standout in high school during his junior year, Hebb hit the hardwood with the Texas based 3D Empire this past spring and summer and he proceeded to light up the scoreboards with consistency, efficiency, and electricity. Case in point was a 48 point performance during the spring where he ripped the nets from long range for 7 treys in the game. Equipped with instincts, feel, swag, and skill, Hebb woke up a lot of scouts and schools with his stellar play and the offers followed as a result. His play saw him garner NY2LA Basketball Association Offensive Player of the Year honors along with being a 2019 NY2LA Basketball Association First Team Selection.
He currently holds offers from Tulane, Toledo, UNC-Charlotte, Louisiana Tech, Colorado State, Tulsa, Saint Louis, Loyola-Chicago, Valparaiso, Northern Kentucky, DePaul, Drake, Stephen F. Austin, Grand Canyon, UW-Green Bay, Bucknell, Ohio, UT-Arlington, Abilene Christian, Northern Iowa, and Boise State. He’s also getting some solid interest from Colorado and Utah State.
Hebb is taking an official visit to Grand Canyon University this weekend and he will be taking an official visit to Loyola-Chicago September 6-8th. He will follow that up with an official visit to Colorado September 13-15th. Still going through his process, Hebb is one of the highly talented scoring guards on the board in the 2020 class and wherever he goes you can expect him to continue to build to his resume with some high level scoring performances.
