With the July live periods now here, this is a time for players to make a name for themselves. While there are plenty of rising seniors poised for a breakout summer, here are several that had strong springs and are ready to take their recruitment to the next level.

Demarion Burch – 2023 – G – Team Haliburton

Already a very talented guard, the recruitment of Burch is just waiting to take off. A tough and athletic attacking guard who not only has the ability to get to the basket but can also create his own shot. The 6’3” guard has quality playmaking abilities that will translate to the next level. After a strong junior season and then spring season, Burch is one to see this summer.

Antwan Burns-Jones – 2023 – G – MTXE Premier

Burns-Jones is a player who has continued to improve all spring and now has a chance to breakout this summer. A good playmaker off the dribble that has really grown his perimeter shooting ability. With his ability to spot up from the outside as well as excel getting into the paint to create for himself and teammates, he is a complete guard. Burns-Jones is worth a look for division two programs.

Zack Hawkinson – 2023 – SF – MidPro Academy

While there have been a few players to reel in offers in bunches from this 17U MidPro team, this summer could be Hawkinson’s chance. While the recruitment of the 6’6” wing has been a bit slow, he has plenty to offer programs at the next level. He is a tough and athletic wing that can do so much on the floor. Hawkinson has shown the ability to score on all three levels, be tough on the glass, is a very versatile defender, and should draw the attention of plenty of scholarship coaches this summer.

Keyon Miller – 2023 – PG – George Hill All Indy

While there is plenty of talent on this 2023 George Hill All Indy squad, Keyon Miller is not one to miss. He is a true floor general with great playmaking ability. As well to his great quickness and handle, he is a strong passer with good feel. He knows how to run the point and get others involved as well as score it himself from around the paint and hit the three.

DJ Wallace – 2023 – F – Greater Purpose Athletics

While Wallace is an under the radar prospect right now, he has tremendous upside. He is a long and athletic 6’8” wing forward with good ability. Already a productive player now who excels as a slasher. His game has taken great strides over the past several months and he has still yet to reach his ceiling.
