2023 Stock Boosters, 2024 Stock Boosters, and now onto the 2025 class. While there have been a long list of rising sophomores that have made a name for themselves over the past few months, here are a few that have greatly grown their game.

Derek Bishop – 2025 – PG – Illinois Wolves

The point guard has such a high skill level at a young age. He started the spring with a tremendous showing at the Swish N’ Dish Tournament and only went up from there. Not only a skilled shot maker that can create for himself but can score from all three levels. More than just a scorer, Bishop plays well with the ball running the point. One of the better 2025 point guards in all of Illinois.

Davion Hannah – 2025 – G/F – Mac Irvin Fire

Hannah exploded onto the scene this spring as one of the top 2025 wings around. He picked up his first four offers in the past month from Arizona State, LSU, Mississippi State, and Wisconsin. While he has shown a tremendous ability, he has even greater upside with his length, athleticism, and skills.

Will Garlock – 2025 – PF/C – Wisconsin Swing

While Garlock flashed great ability last year, he has developed into a force this spring. Not only does he stand at 6’8” with good strength but also has the ability to go with it. While he has only finished his freshman year, Garlock is already a skilled scorer in the low post but can also put the ball on the floor and is a skilled passing big man. He is one of the top 2025 big men in the area who college coaches will want to see.

Isaiah Mellock – 2025 – G – MTXE Premier

One of the more impactful players at the 2025 level of the NY2LA Association who improved tournament after tournament this spring. Mellock is a high energy guard that does a bit of everything on the floor. He is quick with the ball attacking the basket but can also knock down jumpers plus is a tough perimeter defender. A name to track if he continues this upwards trajectory.

Amir Perryman – 2025 – PG – The Academy

Perryman was a key piece of the talented 2025 The Academy squad that impressed all spring. He is a smart point guard that excels in his role and is a highly impactful player on both ends of the floor. He is a true playmaking point guard that excels playing off the dribble getting into the paint and creating.
