As well to the breakout stars from the 2023 class, the 2024 class had a few of its own. Here are some rising juniors that took great strides in their games during the spring. The list includes prospects with high major offers as well as ones that are just getting their recruitment started.

Kuol Atak – 2024 – F – 3D Empire

While he flashed plenty of upside last summer, this spring he started to put all the pieces together to be a real force and one of the top players at the 16U level of the NY2LA Association. At 6’8”, he has an incredibly high skill level with his ability to make plays off the dribble as well as knock down jumpers. College coaches have started to notice Atak as St. Louis University and Texas-Rio Grande Valley have both offered him recently.

Tayshawn Bridges – 2024 – G – Mac Irvin Fire

Bridges went from one of the top 2024 players in Wisconsin to a nationally ranked prospect this spring. He was electric early in the spring with Power 5 and then later with Mac Irvin Fire on the EYBL. A dynamic playmaker that is incredibly tough to defend once he gets going downhill to the bucket. He holds a few high major offers and look for more to roll in for him.

Andrew Graf – 2024 – PG – MTXE Premier

Over the course of the last year Graf went from a good distributing point guard to a well-rounded player that can impact the game in so many ways. Every game I saw of Graf he was making a big impact. Not only with his ability to be a floor general and run the offense, but also to score it himself and defend.

Will Hornseth – 2024 – PF – Wisconsin Blizzard

While Hornseth was already a highly skilled forward entering the spring, he has only continued to grow his game. Even at 6’8”, Hornseth has such a high skill level. An agile big with great feel who can handle the ball, hit shots, and be effective in the low and mid post. The rising junior holds offers from Green Bay, St. Thomas, and Toledo.

Braylon Roman – 2024 – PG – MidPro Academy

Throughout the spring, Roman had several impressive tournaments and continued to improve showing more skills. He is a point guard with some size and skilled all-around game. He plays well off the dribble attacking the basket, can knock down outside jumpers, and create for his teammates all in addition to knowing how to play.
