2023 6’3 Collin Madson – 24Up 17U
Madson continued to improve his stock this spring with 24Up 17U. At 6’3 Madson has good size and strength at the guard spot and can really shoot it from deep. He is a willing passer and competes defensively and on the glass. Madson scored 15 points on Sunday in elite 8 matchup, knocking down 3 threes and some strong takes to the rim where he can finish in traffic.

2023 6’0 Johnny Kinziger – Team Herro EYBL 17U
Johnny Kinziger did a little bit of everything over the weekend as Team Herro captured the 17U championship at WI Spring Showdown. Kinziger got to the rim, made jumpers from three and in the midrange, got his team into sets in the halfcourt offensively, guards with intensity and is the first to the floor for every loose ball – he makes winning plays. Add to that a high IQ and good feel for the game and Kinzinger was one of the top guards in the event.

2023 6’5 Matt Merlo – Chapman North 17U
Matt Merlo is a crafty lefty with a high skillset and good footwork. He was able to slash to the rim and finish around the basket, can knock down jumpers when given space and is a matchup problem with his size and versatility. Merlo impressed all weekend and should be a high academic D3 candidate who may get some looks at the D2 level.

2023 6’0 Tre Miller – Wisconsin Swing 17U-Kunde
Tre Miller has been one of the biggest risers in Wisconsin over the last 3-4 months and impressed yet again at WI Spring Showdown, helping lead WI Swing 17U-Kunde to an Elite 8 finish at the event. Miller has great strength and can get downhill where he makes correct reads when drawing help. He also has nice touch from deep with a high arching smooth jumper able to connect on threes.

2022 6’8 Vinko Polovic – Pro Lane/Team Herro 17U
Vinko Polovic Could be a late steal for schools looking to add size and shooting in the 2022 class. Coming off a year of prep school, Polovic has a quick release from deep and is able to get clean looks at the rim with his size on the perimeter. He also had some nice takes to the rim and has a soft touch around the basket. Polovic put up multiple 20+ point scoring efforts as Pro Lane/Team Herro won the 17U gold championship.

2023 6’7 Alex Sherwood – WI Crusaders Premier 17U
Playing alongside Levi Birkholz, Alex Sherwood was impressive all weekend for WI Crusaders Premier 17U. He is a fluid big who can run the floor, finish above the rim and has good hands. Sherwood can move his feet well defensively and battled on the glass. With his size Sherwood is a prospect that should be getting a lot of D2 attention from schools around the Midwest.
