We are getting close to the end of the high school season and there is still a long list of talented seniors in Illinois who are uncommitted. While there are plenty that will end up on college rosters, here are a few that can do plenty on the floor and will help college teams win games in the years to come. While all five have varying levels of college interest, more college coaches would be smart to recruit these seniors.

Davontae Hall – 2022 – PG – Hyde Park HS

The point guard is having a tremendous senior season. While he does have interest from several division one programs including an offer from North Carolina A&T, Hall is still a bit under the radar. A long and athletic senior that plays very well with the ball in his hands. A dynamic playmaker that has a great ability to get into the paint and create for himself and teammates. Hall gets to the basket and finishes very well plus is a skilled facilitator with his vision. Hall has plenty of the tools to be a successful point guard at the next level.

Aima Igiehon – 2022 – SF – Wheeling HS

While he may not be the biggest or flashiest of players, Igiehon is a senior that can help a college team win games next year and beyond. The 6’3” wing forward has good length as well to playing with tremendous energy to make a big impact on the floor and earn himself all-conference honors this season. He is a tough scorer around the basket, rebounds in bunches, and defends multiple positions well. Igiehon is the type of player that does anything on the floor to win ball games.

Xavier Lewis – 2022 – F – TF South HS

The 6’7” wing forward has continued to pick up offers from programs on multiple levels over the past several months. Lewis is a skilled and versatile two-way player. With his size, athleticism, and agility, Lewis can match up with nearly anyone on the floor. Not only can he score it well around the basket with his size and aggressiveness but step out and hit some jumpers. The forward has tremendous upside and could be an absolute steal for the right program.

Conrad Luczynski – 2022 – C – Bartlett HS

It’s not often you see seven plus footers under the radar, but that is exactly what is happening in this situation. Luczynski is having a tremendous senior season and is much more than just a big body. He plays with good energy, moves well for his size, and finishes well around the paint. He’s a double-double machine that is more than deserving of an offer, the big man could be the steal of the 2022 class.

Aaron Onesimus – 2022 – G – Schaumburg Christian HS

The guard is having a monster senior year and now getting some of the college attention he deserves. An incredibly skilled scorer who has put up a 51-point game this season. He is a very skilled and versatile scorer with a smooth jumper, good range, can create for himself, and get to the rim. He also has good size in the backcourt at 6’4” and knows how to play. Onesimus recently picked up an offer from Purdue Northwest.
