One junior that continues to emerge as a national level recruit this year is Dalen Davis. While the point guard already holds an impressive offer list, he has greatly progressed this season with powerhouse Whitney Young High School.

DePaul, Illinois, Kansas, South Carolina, Stanford, and Western Illinois have all offered Davis. Other programs interested in him include Boston College, Marquette, Northwestern, Notre Dame, among others.

Apart of a tough national schedule, Davis has helped Whitney Young out to a 7-3 record this season. At the prestigious City of Palms Classic that recently took place in Florida, Davis shined up against some of top high school teams nationwide. In the three games of the tournament, he averaged 18.6 per game, 3 assists, and 2.7 rebounds per game.

When growing up, Davis looked to model his game after Dwayne Wade and John Wall. He is a dynamic playmaking point guard that excels with playing with the ball in his hands. While he can score it effectively from all three levels, Davis excels attacking the defense with his quickness. He is incredibly difficult to defend off the dribble with his ability to get all the way to the basket, see the floor and distribute the ball, as well as pull up for jumpers.

The prominent games continue for Davis and Whitney Young tonight as they face off against Kenwood Academy in the championship game of the Proviso West Holiday Tournament.
