While once a highly under the radar recruit just earlier this year, Brock Harding has become one of the more sought after 2023 point guards in Illinois as well as the entire Midwest. It wasn’t until June that he received his first division one offer but now has a long list of them. The 6’0” point guard attends Moline High School and plays with Mid Pro Academy.

Once college coaches were able to see Harding this summer with Mid Pro Academy, the offers started to roll in. He is one of the more truly skilled point guards in the entire Midwest. Harding is an exceptional playmaker with all his tools. The junior has tremendous moves with the ball as well to his quickness to be so difficult to stay in front of. He excels at getting into the paint and distributing with his vision and ability to deliver the ball wherever he wants. As well to being able to score himself around the paint with a crafty finishing ability and pull up for jumpers in the mid-range.

In June, Western Illinois became the first offer for Harding. Since then, Appalachian State, Bradley, Colorado State, Drake, Eastern Illinois, Illinois State, Purdue Fort Wayne, Radford, Southeast Missouri State, Southern Illinois, and UIC have all offered him.

This summer Harding was a large piece of a dominant Mid Pro Academy 16U team. He was able to help them win the championship of The Grassroots Basketball Association. Now in the high school season he has Moline out to a 5-0 record.

As more college coaches get to see Harding, look for the offers to continue to roll in.
