After recently receiving a scholarship offer from North Georgia, Jack Mielke has now grown his offer list into the double digits. To date, the 6’7” senior power forward, also holds offers from Hillsdale College, Indiana Tech, Lewis University, Northern Michigan, Northwood, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Rockhurst, Southern Indiana, and Truman State.

During his junior season, Mielke averaged 14.7 points and 7 rebounds per game at Downers Grove North High School (IL). In addition to his long list of offers from primarily division two programs, Mielke does have some interest from some division one schools including Navy and VMI.

When talking about his long list of schools after him, Mielke mentioned a few that are standing out so far to him. “Palm Beach Atlantic has really stood out to me after the visit I took. Southern Indiana and North Georgia have both stood out through conversations we have had. I’ve also felt very good about Lewis for a variety of reasons throughout the whole process.”

There are some aspects Mielke is looking for on and off the court in his future college. “My goals with recruiting are to find a school that seeks to compete at a high level on the basketball floor, while I am still able to have a great education that will allow me to support myself and those around me when the ball stops bouncing.” One other thing the senior is looking for is “a place where the team I play with truly feels like a family.”

While Mielke does have a long list of suitors and several schools that currently stand out to him, don’t expect any commitment from him soon as he is unsure on any timeline of a college decision for himself right now.
