One of the fastest rising prospects in Illinois is Jalen Quinn of Tuscola High School. Last week Quinn picked up another scholarship offer, this one from Loyola-Chicago. Quinn is a 6’3” junior point guard who plays with the Illinois Wolves program.

“I love the coaching staff at Loyola after meeting them and I know they have a will to win with their guys and the program is on the rise,” Quinn commented on what he liked about the program from his most recent offer.

Illinois-Chicago, Southeast Missouri State, and Southern Illinois are the other schools to have also offered Quinn already. As well the junior is receiving interest from Colorado State, FAU, Illinois, Indiana, Purdue, Utah State, among several other programs. When asked if any of these schools stand out to him so far, Quinn responded “I love all the schools reaching out to me and it’s very early in the process for me so I’ve been really open.”

There are a few different things Quinn is looking for in his for in his future college. “A program that really wants me and one that I have a good relationship with and a program that can make me a better player and person in general.”

For the summer, Quinn said that it “went really good” while playing with the Illinois Wolves. Adding in “we did it in a safe way and the coaches did a great job getting us out in front of coaches still.” Look for Quinn to have a big junior season with Tuscola High School and continue to add further recruitment interest.
